Melissa has worked for over ten years supporting people to live the preferred stories of their lives. She offers a warm, caring, respectful, supportive and non-blaming approach, underpinned by the belief that problems are separate to people.
Melissa supports those she works with by standing alongside them as they review and reflect on their lives. She supports self-agency through drawing on people’s values, skills, strengths and abilities. Melissa asks questions to assist those she works with to explore new understandings, meanings and possibilities from the stories brought to counselling.
Melissa holds all conversations using Narrative Therapy practices.
