Alex recently interviewed Glen Guy, who was instrumental in the development of the Masters of Counselling program at QUT from 1989 to 2006 and in particular the introduction of reflecting team work to QUT’s student counselling clinic.
Glen is a school teacher turned psychologist, turned university lecturer and counsellor who lived the post structuralist ideas before he learnt the terms for how he understood people and the challenges we face.
He continues to share his ideas with the Masters of Counselling students at QUT in such a way that his lessons of, “what position do you want to take on what’s happening in your life and why”, is remembered and lives on through us here at SKATTLE and by so many of our community who are connected to Glen.
His humility and unwavering respect for people and their life experiences is quite something. Enjoy listening!
